Damon Bates is an Executive Advisor and Consultant at Bates, a BTS Company. He is passionate about partnering with senior executives to become exceptional leaders that inspire and align.  In his work coaching and advising executives and their teams, he brings his deep experience in executive leadership roles to help his clients accelerate their performance and deliver results.

Damon has over thirty years of experience in corporate leadership, most recently at MassMutual, MetLife and Manulife Financial. He has led transformational change initiatives including the successful integration of MassMutual acquisition of MetLife’s agency distribution system. He is an experienced communicator who has developed and delivered executive presentations, coached senior leaders, and acted as a company spokesperson and industry expert.

The Bates ExPI™ has now been used to define leader behaviors that can drive innovation, company growth and successful transformation.

Damon holds an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business, and a BS from New York University.
