Ayme Van Riet, Administrative Assistant & Office Manager
Ayme joined Bates Communications in Spring 2018 attracted by the highly collaborative, team environment which is mission driven toward growth and powerful impact toward the success of client outcomes. In this multi-faceted role, Ayme has responsibility and accountability for managing or participating in multiple projects, initiatives, and tasks, with a client centric focus.
Ayme has a strong project management background and most recently worked for Atomera Corporation, an R&D company in the semi-conductor industry based in San Francisco, where she worked for 8 years as Manager of Investor Relations and Administration, taking them to a successful IPO in 2016. In this role Ayme worked closely with the CEO and CFO supporting investor relations, and covered all aspects of administration including HR and IT. In addition she had responsibility for managing their office in Wellesley prior to the move to Silicon Valley post-IPO, supporting tradeshows and client communications. Prior to that, Ayme co-founded and grew Belgium’s Best Chocolates, an importer of fine chocolates, which was sold in 2008. Earlier in her career, Ayme worked in marketing for Colgate-Palmolive, Revlon and Welch’s in several product management roles. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.S. in Management & Policy from SUNY Stony Brook.
