Sean Costa, Senior Director, Sales
Sean Costa is Senior Director, Sales for Bates, now BTS Boston. Sean has built and led successful sales and marketing teams/programs for the past 20+ years at Digital Consulting Institute (DCI), Linkage Inc., Palladium Group, and Corporater Inc. covering a wide range of marketplaces including Human Capital/Leadership & Organizational Development, Strategy & Performance Management, and IT/Business Software.
Most recently, as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Corporater, Sean led the business development efforts to successfully launch this Norwegian based software firm in North America. Prior to Corporater, Sean was VP of Executive Services at Palladium Group where his focus for nine years had been on business development, demand creation, conceiving and launching direct response marketing campaigns and developing executive education programs.
Sean’s hands-on approach in executing business development programs has helped these organizations grow their pipelines by targeting qualified prospects and focusing on customer needs. A consummate sales professional, Sean has a successful track record in meeting sales goals and partnering with Managing Directors, consultants, and marketing teams to grow business.
In addition, Sean has worked with Drs. Kaplan and Norton, creators of the Balanced Scorecard, to conceive, source, and launch public executive education and training programs focused on Strategy Execution, Measures, BI & Analytics, Risk Management, Human Capital Strategy, and other business performance topics.
Sean holds a B.A. in Communication from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is an avid skydiver, hiker, kayaker, traveler, and all around adventurer.
